'The Hometown Shows' from Follow That Dream (FTD) is a double CD set containing the legendary shows from the Mid-South Coliseum in Memphis, Tennessee on March 17, 1974 (evening show) and June 10, 1975 (afternoon show). This release comes as a 5 inch 2-CD digipack and is mastered by Jan Eliasson (disc 1) and Vic Anesini (disc 2).
Wow just Wow!
The sound on disc 1 THE HOMETOWN SHOWS is truly amazing.
Superbly balanced with all voices and instruments clear as a bell, the guitars especially sound great plus it's a damn fine show Elvis is in fine fettle and really up for it. This is one of the best FTD live offerings in a while. I would actually rate it above 48 To Memphis FTD. This has fair raised my spirits as it has exceeded my expectations.
