Elvis: Ooh Las Vegas DVD (With bonus Steamrollin' On Tour)

The 'Ooh Las Vegas' DVD presents more than 90 minutes of Video material, also including a great documentary about Elvis' early 1973 appearances, with both information and entertainment. But most of all you will get…… unreleased Video! See extremely rare footage in stunning quality with Elvis appearing in his Blue Pinwheel suit! And so much more! Quality wise this DVD easily represents the best picture quality of any Las Vegas 8mm footage that has been seen before.

On the 'Ooh Las Vegas' DVD we get footage from seven (7) concerts including previously unseen material as well as a documentary, and two (2) video clips.

The footage is extremely good for 8mm, and as it is not presented and distorted in full-screen; it comes across really well. Presented like this, we literally get another perspective of Elvis on stage in early 1973. The documentary is a nice way to 'set the scene' for the main course, the concerts. This DVD has a running time of close to 2 hours with a short 10-15 minute documentary that kicks things off. The next 80-90 minutes feature crisp and clear footage taken at the 1973 winter engagement in Las Vegas (some seen in the 'Sold Out' DVD series). Yes, the resolution is low given the limitations of the medium, but these are quality transfers, beautifully color corrected and synced with the respective audio. The footage is void of any watermarks. Features complete performances of 'Steamroller Blues', 'Polk Salad Annie', 'Johnny B. Good', 'Love Me Tender', and 'An American Trilogy'.

Bonus

On top of this is a bonus section featuring the content of another recent DVD release, 'Steamrollin' On Tour'. A nice bonus adding nearly two (2) hours of film but it is in NO WAY as good a quality as the main program.
